Default Disney's Fishing Excursions

My parents and I have been on the Fishing Excursions 3 times since I have been to Disney. We absolutely love it and think it is a great addition to a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. There are many different prices and even though it might be a tad expensive, it is a great experience and we have always brought in at least 20 fish in the boat in the 2 hours that we fish.

Taken from allears.net here are some of the prices for the fishing excursions that are available.

Available at:
  • BoardWalk Resort
  • Contemporary Resort
  • Coronado Springs Resort
  • Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
  • Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
  • Old Key West
  • Polynesian Resort
  • Port Orleans Resort
  • Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
  • Yacht Club Resort
  • Downtown Disney Marketplace

There are three different times:

7 a.m.: $250
10 a.m.: $250
1:30 p.m.: $225

That might seem expensive, but each excursion includes a guide, a rod and reel, tackle, artificial and live bait, beverages, digital photo souvenir, and one year membership to BASS (11 magazines, a decal, and other benefits!!)

My family has always loved doing this and once I can get pictures (they aren't digital so I have to scan into the computer and they are at home) I will show you some of the sizes we have caught.

This first time we went I was 4 and I was the first one to catch a fish on my little plastic Mickey rod! It was awesome!

If you have done this, please tell us about your experience and you can always ask questions! I will try to answer as others will as well!

Thanks for posting this. We were wondering what the prices were like. No way I would pay that for fishing on a lake. (BUT I live about a mile from the waters of Tampa bay)

It is expensive.. but for what you get it is worth it! We usually go with other families that are there with us... so we split the pricing and it isn't as expensive!

I forgot to say that you are allowed 5 people on a boat at a time! (not counting the guide)
