Two weeks and counting....

Considering our countdown is normally days or weeks -- not months and months -- its hard to believe we are only 14 days from Brenden's Disney Adoption Celebration.

We start here in Venice with his Christening and Adoption Blessing which will be followed by a reception for some 80 friends and family at the beach. Then Brenden will go with Daddy, his aunt, and godfather to Disney to check in and set up while Mommy and the in-laws clean up from the party. By 7 pm we should be all set up and ready for a great week of fun and Disney Magic. DH is talking about going to MK for Magic Hours, but we'll see how tired we all are. No matter, we have a Date with Minnie and Friends for breakfast at Cape May Cafe.

Other highlights -- Meals at Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Castle, Spirit of Aloha, and Mickey's BBQ. We also plan to go to Chip & Dale's movies at Fort Wilderness, enjoy the F&W Festival, and spend lots of time with the 21 friends and family who are joining us for this very special celebration.

So strike up the band and let the countdown start...

Sounds like a great time! We will also be enjoying Chef Mickey's and some other character experiences.

I've only been on here a few months, but I just am so happy for your family. I've seen those days go down on your posts for your trip. It's great to hear about your celebration. 21 people - WOW!! I didn't realize there were that many going - now that's a group!! Congratulations to you, your husband, your friends and family, and especially to Brenden!

We adopted our daughter one year ago yesterday from Russia and we're going to Disney Friday for 5 days to celbrate!
