Captain Jack's joined the crew!Get ready to set sail on this boisterous journey to discover Captain Jack and his nemesis Barbossa interacting with some of your favorite Audio-Animatronics® buccaneers and adding a terrific twist to the classic adventure — along with new special effects.


TIPS & FUN FACTS

Construction began on this attraction less than six months after the Walt Disney World® grand opening.

You depart through an 18th century Spanish fortress known as "El Castillo — Torre del Sol" (The Castle — Fortress of the Sun).

*Guests must transfer from motorized scooter or ECV to an available wheelchair, then from the wheelchair to the attraction/ride vehicle.

I have taken my DS now 4 1/2 on this ride all three times we have been to the parks. He was 18 months, 2 1/2 and 3 1/2. He has no problem with this ride, and actually really likes it.

One of the bests. If you are there at the right time, you may get to meet Capt. Jack Sparrow. We were fortunate to meet him and my son recieved a lesson (with a certificate) in pirating. It was a great street show.

                        

I love this ride too. It is always fun to see if the hidden mickey is with the gold plates is there or not each time I ride. I always try to find a new detail that I missed before. There is so much to take in. I would rate this ride as 5 stars.

                        

I agree with everyone...
a trip to the Magic Kingdom just wouldn't be complete without taking a spin on this attraction!

This is my favorite in Adventureland...sorry pygmy! In fact it's one of my favorite rides at Disney!

Tip: When you decide to go on Pirates they have 2 seperate boarding lines. Most people line up in the left hand boarding line. I'd suggest boarding on the RIGHT hand one. Everytime I've done this I've gotten on the ride almost instantly or within 5 minutes as opposed to the other line which has MUCH longer wait!
