I stay at the park until closing. If it is an off season and parks close earlier than normal I go shopping in Downtown Disney. I am definitely a commando WDW person, so the goal is always that I am at the park from opening to close.

I'm going to assume if they have a way to get to Universal, they'd go visit City Walk. They do offer free parking after 5 so you don't have to worry about forking over 12 bucks to park your car there, but if you plan on visiting City Walk during the day, expect to pay, unfortunately.

"Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." - Walt Disney
On our last visit, we stayed we split between staying in the park, epcot and wandering around the Boardwalk. I think the most amusing part was the nights we hung around on the Boardwalk. The performers kept my kids entertained and laughing well into the night.
I have visited and joined a lot of threads and sites over the past few months. I discovered this one purely by accident. Then again...was it an accident or a little pixie dust?
I'm still feeling my way around these threads and learning as I go. So, if my posts seem to be lacking in imagination or originality, bear with me. I'll catch up in time. By the way, I'm partial to the Polynesian Resort and have had a number of magical vacations there. Hoping to be there again in mid-late Sept.
I'm really going to miss Pleasure Island!!

I'm really going to miss Pleasure Island!!
I'm usually at one of the parks til closing and by then I'm ready for bed and dreams of what tomorrow will bring. But, I have on occasion gone to Pleasure Island and I have to say that I will miss it.
I'm at the point in my life where I don't often get out to dance. All the clubs around here are for people much younger than I. However, when at Pleasure Island, I've always found a mix of people, including my age group, having a good time.
I dont go to PI much. If we are calling it an early night then I usually go swimming and chill in my room and maybe hit DTD for some shopping and an ince cream.
We are in the parks until closing and since we go in the fall usually (parks close earlier), we head to the Boardwalk or PI. Sometimes to another resort for dinner. If we are too tired, we head back to our resort and rest.
I go back to the parks.. We usually leave around 3 to avoid the parade crowds, head to a water park, come back to our resort, shower, and go back into the parks around 7 or so. I love it.. and it breaks up the day nicely so you aren't parked out!
