Among the changes at Disney's California Adventure is a new theme for the Orange Stinger swing ride.

The styling will be in keeping with the Victorian architecture currently seen in the Paradise Pier section of the park, most notably at the recently opened "Toy Story Mania" attraction.

While Disney Imagineers declined to provide details, sources say that the Orange Stinger will become "The Silly Symphony Swings" and will be patterned after Disney's "The Band Concert" cartoon released in 1935.

The swings will rotate around a tornado with smoke and orchestration with "Conductor Mickey" on top of the attraction.

                        

That sounds awesome!

I love the idea....hopefully they can carry it out.

This sounds interesting (even though swinging in a giant orange was interesting enough, lol), will they just repaint the orange to gray with added "clouds" on the exterior?
