The rumor mill is floating again for 2009 Free Dining. Apparently the UK offers are out and the free dining offered will be the newly created
lowest cost, Counter Service dining.
My guess is it is likely to matched for domestic free dining.
This was discussed when the UK offer came out, but since then the bounceback offer at WDW resorts was for the regular dining plan. Here's what I got in September:

I think that the bounceback will be for the regular plan, but the offer when it comes out next year will probably be for the counter service plan. You can always upgrade, so I don't have a problem with this.

I think so too Jeff. The one I booked was with the basic dining plan. But I think the one open to the general public will be the counter service with chance of upgrading to any of the plans. But could be wrong

Wonder if the Value Resorts will be offered free dining options for Domestic Reservations in 2009?
The interesting thing is that the bounceback didn't specifically mention that the dining plan was even available to Deluxe Resort guests, but people were able to ask for and get Deluxe for the offer. Disney markets quite differently for the European market and the US market, and this seems to be one of the differences.

Tim you are right my flyer didn't mention anything about deluxe resort but I was able to book the BWI for next year. Did they also extend the date as my said had to be booked by Oct 24th?? I think in the coming months Disney will be offering more discounts. But my deadline for my upcoming trip is over with so any discount I would have to pay a penalty unless I added deluxe dining which for us is too much food
