Ok I know but since I was up so early this morning I would try to make my ADR's for my late Sept/Oct trip as today was the 90th day. Went to Disney Web site & of course it was still saying it was June 28th (my time was 1:30am) So I waited until 3 AM great showing 6-29 but woun't let me make any ADR's.
When I got up I tried again no luck. So I had to call & wait 45 minutes no big deal as I used a calling card I took to St Thomas. After I got a live person I made my ADR's. I asked her why I couldn't do it online. She said they been having problems with it on & off. I must have gotten an off time where it didn't like doing it. So my question to the travels agents on the boards how do you do it? And when can you do it? Yes I know I should have book with one of y'all but I like to control my trips myself. Note not saying y'all won't do a great job I know you will & can. It just a quirk I have.
Now I am wishing I would have gone to St Thomas Wait it not too late to change my mind after all I am a female Just what DH will want to hear that I changed my mind yet again Keep him on his toes that how I like to keep him guessing me Though he did say no to St Thomas but left it up to me as he knows better to tell me a firm no as I would do it anyhow

You have to wait until 6 a.m. They have tried to match it up with the 7 a.m. phone center opening time. I guess by letting you have an extra hour they are trying to drive more people to the online system, but for many people in other time zones that means being up and making ADRs 3, 4 or 5 a.m.
Just get a good travel agent and let him/her do it for you. That's my completely unbiased advice!

I made my reservation for T-Rex online, and it was easy as pie. I wished when I was done that I had the ability to have made all of my reservations online. I can't wait till they get all of the bugs fixed on the new system, because it is going to be really useful.

I did get back up at 6:15 AM & tried no luck. Then went & laid of sofa until 7:30 AM & called & while I was waiting I checked again no luck. She told me they were having problems with the online. Then I went back to bed since I was up since 1 AM .
Yes I know get a TA but I am stubborn & like to do things on my own. I also could have let the IPO planners at the club level at the BWI do it as well.

I am happy that it worked for you Stacy It didn't for me must have been an off day for their web site since I tried it several times with no luck. And the person said they were having problems. I just stick to a live person from now on then I know I have them

That's definitely a good idea! I booked late & on the phone with DBF. It gave us a better idea where & when we wanted to eat since we knew it would be open or full then!
I still have to book POP this weekend.
I've used the new system a few times now. At first it took some getting used to...or maybe the web site was having a bad day? But now I really like it! I feel I have more control and it's easier than calling up someone. thought I've enjoyed some of my conversations with the ADR CMs. LOL I really really like the online system!! The only hiccup I had was trying to book Akershus...it kept timing out when trying to take my credit card (to hold the ADR). I thought I was going to lose that ADR, but luckily I didn't.
I think Will the web site was having a bad day as I made one for my upcoming trip that I didn't make when I called as I was on the fence & it was not a big deal if I got it or not. As the CM told me they been having problems with it. Like you I like talking to them as some of them can tell you inside secrets shhhhhhhhh don't tell.

Oh, that's good to know, Barb. Thanks. And not surprising that a new system would have a bit of issues. What's funny is one time, the CM we talked to went to a rival High School to my wife's HS. That was neat and some good conversations. and yes, we've gotten some good insider info as well... shhhh...

I got up at 5am (central time) and was able to do all my 8 days of ADR's online with no problems this morning. I was done by 5:30 and got all the restaurants and times I wanted too. Even LeCellier The only thing that I question is that it allowed me to make a reservation at two different restaurants for the same date and time....I was switching from one restaurant to another and I didn't want to cancel one before I was sure I could get the other....and it let me have both at the same time until "I" canceled one. It makes me worry that the system will have lots of double books and people will not be able to get what they want. Other than that it was GREAT I printed all my confirmations so that I had hard copies and it was done.
i was under the impression you could not book two ADR's within an hour of each other let alone the same time I agree, it this is the case this does leave the system open to abuse
I'm a travel agent and I've used the online ADR system. If I am making just one 2 two reservations it's fine. One day I spent an hour with a client and had 6 reservations in the cart and there was a system error, so then I had to call them and hold and the ones we had weren't even available at that time! I was soooo frustrated!
I think there are many kinks still needing to be worked out.
