I heard the May 26th date thrown around a lot (for one, Disney reservations keeps asking if I'm making a reservation for AFTER May 26th...)

Anyone have any enlightenment?

No, but I am betting it will be chaos when it starts. Still once the bugs are worked out it will be a blessing!

Don't know if there was any announcement of an official date, but today would be a lousy day for it. Disney CRO has been really fighting phone lines and such today. Our agency has access to a preferred line to call in for reservations, and today it has been inaccessible at times, and at other times the lines have been crossed (WDW/DLR/DCL). The issues have been storm-damaged lines, we were told.

I am looking forward to the opportunity to make online ADR's. Hoping it will go smoothly once it is all up & running... (fingers crossed!)

I think online would be great but reservation times will go twice as fast and it would be hard to get anything decent.

I think that if they do this right, as in prevent people from making reservations for the same time at different locations, then this could be a real help for ADR's in the parks.

FYI: The system does alert you when reservations are made at the same time (within an hour of each other).

That's good to hear. Does it still "allow" you to make reservations at the same time? I can't imagine how many folks make more than one just in case they feel like eating somewhere different at the actual time..

I think it should be longer than a hour, lets say you knew you were going to Epcot for the day you could book 3 reservations each a hour apart around World Showcase and just use the one your nearest to at the time you want to eat. This is a good idea just needs fine tuning.
