Disney World Parks and Rides that are no more.
River Country was the first Disney World water park. It was themed on an "ol' fashioned water hole" and had a rustic quality to it. It was less frenetic than the later water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Unfortunately in ran foul of new legislation forbidding the use of "natural bodies of water" and had to be closed in 2001.

Horizons opened in 1983, Epcot's second year of operation, and closed in 1999. It was a great ride portraying a vision of the future. A great pity that it has closed. Shame on you Disney.
This vintage 8mm film, produced by Walt Disney Productions, was used to promote the new Florida theme park. Many of Disney's extinct attractions are featured in this film such as, The Swan Boats, The Mickey Mouse Revue, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
While waiting in line to ride Toy Story Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, guests get to interact and be entertained by Mr. Potato Head who sings and talks with people as they pass him by in line. This is a short song "One Potato, Two Potato..." he sang while we passed. Also in this bit is some interaction with the guests as they pass, jokes and all. This was shot during a sneak preview prior to the ride officially opening at Walt Disney World in Florida.
