1932 - Disney's first full-color animated film (and the studio's first Technicolor cartoon), Flowers and Trees premieres at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This 29th Silly Symphony will be considered a landmark in Disney animation. (It will earn Disney his first Academy Award for Best Cartoon Short Subject.)

July 29, 1922 - The first Laugh-O-Gram cartoon Little Red Riding Hood is released. A silent black & white short, it is written, produced, and directed by Walt Disney and animated by Rudolph Ising. It is considered Walt's first full-length short cartoon as prior to this only minute-long cartoons have been produced.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction received an update for the Summer Nightastic promotion at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. Additions include a new drop sequence, new audio, "glowing" elevator shafts, and an overhauled "5th dimension" scene. The updates officially launched on June 6, 2010 and will disappear after August 14, 2010.
