With a 'Mouse Lounge Martini in Hand' Gary Chambers comes to us each show with a great Disney Podcast. Gary's shows are well produced and each one is packed with a lot of content, about an hour a show. For those of us that have found the Walt Disney Boards because of it's strong tilt toward the History of Walter Elias Disney, this podcast is a must. Each one of Gary's shows has at least one audio interview from the archives with either Walt or the main players in the growing Disney Studios. The interview he runs this week is of Virginia Davis from the 'Alice Comedies' and she talks about her experience with Walt and the early days of his studio, great stuff.
Along with the heavy Walt content, The Mouse Lounge can be counted on for a good updated news segment on each show with news on all things Disney. He's got some great comments to go along with the news. He often plays old books on record cuts of various Disney Properties. This week it's Mary Poppins complete with the star/magic sound effect to tell you when to turn the pages. Followed by some cuts from the Disney Archives and music about Mary Poppins and commentary with Leonard Maltin, Dick Vandyke, Walt, Dick Sherman and others. Did I say Great? I meant it.
There often is music and always a ride-thru from Disney Theme Parks East or Disney Theme Parks West and much more. The Mouse Lounge opening theme is the best of all of the Disney Podcasts IMHO.

The address for his site points here. It is not up to date and I get his current shows through Itunes. But I would not go through the trouble of finding the shows if they were not worth it. Any show from the past would be a treat to listen to. So join Gary Chambers at the Mouse Lounge and I'll take my 'Mouse Louge Martini' straight up with a twist.
