Busch Gardens has their own haunted event that is starting to become more of a slightly smaller scale HHN, and much less of any other local haunt. This year for them is no exception. Their website just got even better visually, and the story of the Raven Twins is pretty good.
The story goes somewhat like this: There are these twins, Laura and Lana (I hope I got their names right, I only read this once, lol) Anyways, they're conjoined twins, and connected at the head from about their nose to the head. They both fell in love with the same guy and hoped to one day be married to him, except for the fact that this guy was part of the crowd that kept making fun of them. One day, they decided to seperate themselves, which left a really disfiguring mark on the side of their faces. They thought that was a small price to pay for revenge. *Cue suspense music*
As for the event itself, it's pretty much the same year, after year, after year. HOS is known for brining back the same houses over, and over, and over, and changing one or two houses every other year. This year it looks like there are a couple new houses, not sure which ones though since I've never been, nor do I know which houses were there last year. I've also noticed they've cut down on the scarezones, but the remaining scarezones are the same as the previous years as well. I'm not sure if the Raven Twins will make an apperance in the event, but based on previous years, the icon wasn't included in the event, but just used as a marketing campaign to promote the event. Last year's icon was the "Death Jockey" who pumped a club full of ear piercing music that ends up killing the group. Even though he was tied into Club Muse, I don't think he was featured in the house last year.
So have fun going through this website. There are a couple things to keep in mind, don't expect something as in depth as HHN's site, or you'll be greatly disappointed. Also, before you enter the site, they always have a warning label on it saying it's 18+. Don't be alarmed, there's nothing in there that's too graphic or gorey. I'd say about half of the stuff on HHN's site is more graphic than HOS's site, and HHN doesn't have a warning label for the site, just for the event. Normally on HOS's sites, they love to do the cheesy flash animations where things jump in your face and shout or scream, but I've yet to see that happen on this site, so another good thing going for the site. So, if you were able to handle HHN's site, you're fine with HOS's site. Enjoy the site, and the catchy and strangely upbeat music
