After dark this summer, Knott’s Berry Farm will light up.
A celebration of the “Peanuts” characters’ 60th anniversary, “Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular” is a three-dimensional LED light display depicting the Peanuts gang along with music and sound effects.
They include Schroeder and his trademark music, Lucy’s dreams of heading to Hollywood, and Snoopy and Woodstock heading out on a camping trip.
Who the show doesn’t include, however, is Good ‘ol Charlie Brown. Charlie’s setup got cut from the show, apparently because it was too big and costly.
The Starlight Spectacular takes place, appropriately enough, in Camp Snoopy.
The show starts Saturday and will take place every night this summer. Knott’s sister parks in the Cedar Fair chain will sport similar displays.
The show is free with admission. For more information, visit knotts.com or call 714-220-5200.
