Universal has announced the bands for their annual Rock the Universe event to be held Sept 5th and 6th, and is a seperate ticketed event. You can enter the park with your RTU ticket as early as 4pm, and the rest of the park closes off to normal guests at 6pm which I assume is when the fun will start and last 'til 1 in the morning. The bands that will be playing the two nights are: SWITCHFOOT, RELIENT K, NEWSBOYS, SKILLET, GRITS, GROUP 1 CREW, NEW METHOD, THIRD DAY, JEREMY CAMP, JARS OF CLAY STELLAR KART, LEELAND, THIS BEAUTIFUL REPUBLIC, SPECIAL D

They're all christian rock groups, probably why you haven't heard of 'em before. I've heard of Jars of Clay, Newsboys, and Relient K before, the rest I'm not too familiar with although I think I've heard of Switchfoot and Skillet, not sure.

Thanks AP though I am Christian not into their rock groups. More into nah not going to say what I am into. Various music though my DIL think it is lousy but what does she know??
