We just got back. I will have to post some pics when I figure out how to do it.
We had a wonderful trip. The weather was gorgeous. The kids had a wonderful time at Dutch Wonderland. I thought it was a great trip. Hershey Park has at least 10 roller coasters, a monorail, and a really cool sky ride. We got to ride everything we wanted to with a minimal wait. I am sure the people going to Magic Meets will enjy a day at Hershey... the tickets include the brand new water park. We didn't go in the water but it looked really cool. They even have cabanas and sand. A tip for those going... Dunkin Donuts in Pa have coupons which offer a savings of at least 4-8 dollars. Every little bit helps. I thought I would pass that along. Parking at Hershey Park is $10.00 but at Dutch Wonderland it was free. We enjoyed the food at The Tudor Inn at Hershey Park. It is a restaurant run by Hershey that is right outside the main entrance We had crab cakes and they were so yummy. My sister had the hamburger special with a drink included for 7.95... not too bad. We enjoyed our meal in the air conditioned dining room. The service was quick and we were served right away. Our fries were cold and the server immediately returned them for new hot fries. The park was great fun and we had a fantastic time. The prices of counter service and merchandise is compatible with "theme park" prices. Anywho, thats all I got... when I figure out how to post pics I will get to it.
I'm glad you had fun! I have only been there once and that was for my birthday a few years ago. I am not a thrill rider, so we just went in for the evening. It was Halloween, so the park was decorated.

Oh how homesick you made me... We came here to Va from Lancaster,Pa. Dutch Wonderland is such a retro "mini me" theme park. My first time ever on a big rollercoaster was there.
We used to go there just to ride the Monorail for free. A tip to anyone going through Lancaster you can go to the office inside the giftshop and tell them you want to ride the monorail. They'll take your drivers license and let you in without an admission ticket so you can go to the monorail. Don't forget to get your license on the way out though... I did that once.
I will be going to Hershey on Monday, but not to the theme park. I have an appt. at Hershey Medical Center for a CT Scan--just checking things out--anyway, afterwards I plan on going thru the Hershey Factory & shopping at the store(they always have some sort of chocolate bar on sale)....the Hershey Gardens are also beautiful to tour!
Every April, my husband's employer (Harley-Davidson) has their annual employee picnic there!
They also have the coupons on Wendy's bags. If anyone needs one..I would be happy to send ya one! Just send me a pm.
We went for Christmas last year.. that was a great trip!!
