I'm going to stay here for my trip in Jan. 2013. Don't know if we'll get a room in the Little Mermaid section or stay in a family suite since it's just my DH and I.

Just booked a family suite in the Cars section for the beginning of November!
The Art of Animation Resort is going to look awesome!

Can't wait for my 2nd trip to WDW this year!

I went for my first family trip with the kids to WDW Jan 2 - 7 2012 (First time back in 30 years) When I last went to WDW Epcot was almost done being built! The family loved it so much this year that we booked again for Nov 7-13 2012!!

We stayed in the Cabins at Ft Wilderness and loved it. We were thinking about the "bounceback" offer while we were there, but could not decide on what days worked best. We got back home on 1/8/12, and decided to book the cabins again and was informed about the new Art of Animation family suites being opened later this year. My boys love CARS, so we jumped on it! I do kick myself for not booking before we left to get the bounceback offer (up to 30% off)

Oh, I can't tell you how many times we wished we had booked the bounce back. We tend to end up going back sooner than we originally plan. I TOTALLY understand!

Sounds like you are hooked now too. You have come to the right place! Put your vacation on the WDB calendar (under user control). You never know if others from the board might be there the same time as you. We just went December 10 - 20, 2011 and are planning our next trip back in October. But first we are going to DL in July.

We did the bounce back once but it was a bit stressful as we had booked the vacation without getting our actually time booked of with our work so we were a bit worried about not getting it but thankfully it worked out ok

I'll bet that can be stressful! I would freak out. I would be too scared to book the bounce back in that case I think. You are quite the brave one!

I have 2 boys that will be 5 and 3 when we go next Feb. I wish there were other standard rooms besides Little Mermaid. We don't need a suite. They could've picked a more gender neutral area for standard rooms.

I don't think I realized that the standard rooms were all in one section. I agree that there should be gender neutral options.

We are thinking of choosing this resort for our trip in Jan 2013. Can't wait to see pics and hear how people are enjoying it. For the price we paid we really liked Pop Century and I am hoping this will be even better

How could it not be better? Brand new and just well done from the pics I see. I hope that at some point we travel with someone who books here. I need an excuse to take pics of the interior!

Does anyone know the cost of the standard rooms in the Little Mermaid area? My daughter wants to say here, but there are only going to be three of us.

Also - does anyone know if this resort has its own bus? Or does it share?
