Default Disney Closed an $18 Million Dollar Deal On Mom-Oriented Websites

Today the Disney Company closed an $18 Million Dollar deal in buying several websites from Kaboose Inc. They are trying to enhance their grasp on the web and draw in mothers. The addition of the half-dozen or so sites, including the popular BabyZone.com and Kaboose.com, will more than double traffic for Disney's parent-oriented sites and reach nearly one in five moms online, Disney said in a statement.

Disney's new acquisitions and current sites will all be under a division called Disney Online Mom and Family Portfolio.

You can read more on this here:

I think it is great and that there will be a lot more Disney Family Oriented information.

Very cool. I wonder when Disney will start to buy up the 'big boys and girls' from around the 'net like DisBoards or DisneyWorldTrivia or AllEars, etc.
