Hey WDBers,

Just wanted to give anyone who might be interested the heads up on my new music-related forums that I'm opening. It's still under construction and needs quite a bit of work still, but I wanted to share it since I set it up and activated it today to test a few things.

The site is called GLAM ROCK TALK (GlamRockTalk.com and it's about the music that was VERY popular in the late 80s with such 'hair bands' as Bon Jovi, Poison, Whitesnake, Twisted Sister and on and on.

Right now the 'forum home' is 90% done, so you can take a peek (and listen ) there as soon as you click on the link. The site will also have a 'home' page where we will have links to nearly 60 "Band Pages" which will feature the history, playlists with the most popular songs of that band, featured videos of the bands, mini-chat room for each band page and much more!

The homepage will have the links to all of the bands and then each band page is a standalone custom page. (Here's an example of a 'standalone' band page Glam Rock Talk - The GRT Poison Band Page )

At any rate, feel free to take a look (and sign up if you're into it! ) and give me any feedback you feel like sharing. By the way, there are some things that Jeff and I have been discussing about adding to Walt Disney Boards based on how well it does over at Glam Rock Talk. So, keep an eye out for some things in the future

The other forum owners that I communicate are wondering what kind of weird taste I have with running Disney sites and Hair Band sites! But hey, I like to run websites about stuff that I love. If you don't love it, you won't be committed to it's success!

You can sign up now if you'd like Heather. Terry and Jeff already signed up. So, you can sign up and play around with some things on there that I've installed so far.

Made some changes to the forum home page (Glam Rock Talk) where I made the forums with little symbols (record covers) and also placed links to the individual band pages.

I'm about 75% complete now with the site. I basically have to add information/pictures/music to the band pages and will be adding more avatars and 'gifts' to give each other on the site.

If anyone goes on the site, can you give me some feedback (positive or constructive) as to what you like or dislike about the site. Even if you aren't "into that type of music" I could use some feedback to make sure that I'm on the right path.
