Torn between the Lagoon view at the Poly or a one bedroom villa at the WL. Anyone?

I have stayed at neither, but here is :

Poly has Ohana, you can just roll right to your room. Poly is on the Monorail line.....HOW COOL IS THAT?????

I am sure WL is great too, there is a boat, but staying on the Monorail line is something I am going to HAVE to do at some point. That's just how my brain works, I say Poly.

However, you should make the decision right for you based on the experiences of others and their opinions. I do not have an educated opinion for you.....YET.

Tammi DH called and said for now switch it to the WL Villas. Can't beat the washer & dryer option. There is always next year for the Poly but then again he might change his mind when he get back home July 31st & want the Poly again if they still have it lol

We do like the WL and think we will like the villas & who know might make him want to buy into one Like when pigs fly lol

We haven't stayed at the Poly yet (although we'd love to!), but the WL Villas are beautiful. Love the decor and the fact that you can walk around that back area with the pools and geyser on the calm lake..just great. Plus, the ferry being back there to take you to Fort Wilderness (for the best priced all you can eat, Trail's End) or to the Magic Kingdom is just another great convenience.

Thanks all ! We changed it as we loved the WL and its theming & think the villas can't be a bad choice Love the Poly but the villas gives you more room. And we might just lounge & relax from our earlier stay at the BWI.

I have a couple of friends who have stayed at WL Villa's and say that it is very quiet and relaxing and gives you the feel of really being out in the middle of nowhere. I have been to the villa's, but not stayed there, but I can tell you that from the pool and back of the facility, you can't see anything else but a lake and trees and you really do think that you are in a mountain cabin.

Now Poly feels like it has so much energy that it is about to explode. When I have been there you just feel like you need to be doing something because it is just full of great energy. I can't sit still in that place. I want to go go go.

Poly is on the monorail and that is nice, but WL also has a boat that I believe runs directly to MK. Just depends on how you want to travel.

Thanks Jim, we decided to go to the WL Villas given the fact we will need the washer & dryer to do some laundry since we will be there 18 days. Of course this could change if Congress doesn't raise the debit ceiling & DH doesn't get paid

The first part of our trip is paid for but if they close the gov't DH would have to use his leave but will cross that bridge next week. I am too stressed out over it now anyhow.
