Ok I am finally getting around to getting this put together.
People on this trip Me & My DD-11, Raena, left hubby & older DD at home.
Nov. 4th we woke at 4am to get up and ready to leave by 5:30am to head to Regan National airport. I live about 45 min from National, but since it was a Sat. we should have now issues getting there.
We arrived the airport around 645am (yes a little late getting out of the house). I had made coffee to take with me so we did not have to stop, we sat for a few and at 7am I was ready to deal with security, we actually had no problems. we went to our gate to wait and around 740 we found out that our gate had been switched and we needed to catch a shuttle to another gate, when we arrived at our new gate we waited about 10min to board, at 805 we were getting on our plane and into our seats. Our flight was completly booked. The only real problem we had was a screaming kid for 2.5 hrs. My flight was to take off by 830am, we did not get in the air until 910am, we still arrived on time in Orlando at 11am. Once off the plane we found our way to the tram and got the monorail to the terminal to get the ME to our resort. Once we checked in and got our vouchers to ME we were on the bus to ASMovies.
We arrived at ASMovies, got to check in and a friend of mine that I chat with on twitter was checking out the day I was checking in, we met and and chatted for a few took pics and went our ways.
We stayed in the Love bug building, once in the room we changed clothes went back to the food court grabbed a bite to eat, this was around 2pm and off to DTD we went we did do some shopping.
So while in DTD I use the app Gowalla to checkin and I have my disney friends that when they checkin I know where they are, well one of the cast from inner most checked in at Parasdio 37 and when I got the notification I was standing right on the bridge, so DD&I walked over there and to my amazment was the whole inner mouse cast, I was was like a little girl getting to see everyone, got big hugs, & of course to get pics. well after a few min with them and all, DD & continued on in DTD. I will say that once the sun went down it turned very cold & windy. At 10pm my kiddo was tired so we headed back to the resort and went to the bed.
NOV-5 Ok now this is the big day of the meets that I flew down to attend, so went get up at 7am & get ready and as we head out the door we see that it is pouring down raining, so we run to the main building to get Bfast and it is a mad house. So we get our food and sit out side by where the bar area is. We finish eatting and it is clearing up and so we head to the MK to get our will call tickets for the MVMCP that we plan to attend that evening, after that we get on the monrail we stop @ GF & Poly to take pics. after that we had back to the MK and catch a bus to the AK on where the DDL/ inner mouse meet will be held. while walking through the lobby I bump into the team again and I am just so excited. I go grab lunch and then head back upstairs for the event. All I can say is I had a BLAST!! The event started at 2pm. A young lady I met back in Aug we became friends and we have stayed in touch. Well at that meet she asked if I was going to attend Lou Mongello's meet, I said I wanted to but since I had to depend on bus transportation it would take me forever, well since she lives in FL she had her car at the event and she said I could ride with her.
We get to the Beach Club where Lou's event was being held, want to talk about overwhelming, there were so many ppl there is was crazy. I do have to tell you though Lou has only met me 1 time and that was back in Aug and he remembered me and my daughter. I only stayed at this event for about 30min and then off I went to the MK for the MVMCP.We arrived around 440 which I thought was not bad. The 1st thing we did was get our wrist bands and off to the rides the 1st ride was Space mountain wait time was 30 min. we then rode HM, then Thunder Mountain. My Daughter wanted to do the Tiki room but it was closed so we then went and did the motor cars, then we grabbed a bite to eat, by this tme we were tired &cold. Since Mainst was packed we just went over to the Crystal Palace and sat on the porch area they were not serving the cookies & hot coco yet, not till 9pm. Once they opened we went inside to get the goodies; the fireworks then started so we went backoutside and watched them. after the fireworks we worked or way to Mainst to find us a spot for the next parade. I will say we were layered up and it was still so cold. as soon as the parade was over at 11pm we left. We ended up waiting for a while for buses. We arrived back to the resort close to Midnight and were hungry, the food court was still open for pizza so we grabbed a pizza & soda and headed back to our room. we could barley stay awake to eat the pizza. off to bed we went.
Monday the 6th departure day. This went ok, our flight was not till 620pm so ME was to pick us up at 315, but I requested an earlier pick up since I figured that since there are alot of stores at MCO we could do some shopping there. I only had one problem at MCO and that was I at times can be a little directionally challenged. I had well at one point I walked up to a TSA agent and had asked for directions and I got a sigh & eyeroll and I asked why she was being so rude and her response was that she was going to pull me to not fly for questioning her response, well that upset my DD cause she thought we were not going to be allowed to fly back home so I asked for the agents name and her supervisor and she again threated to pull me when I explained look I am new to this airport never been here can you please give me general directions, by this time I started to get upset and she started making a scene and calling for assistance to pull me & my DD so I just ended up walking away, I was able to find some one else that was more helpful. Well I boarded my flight and landed by 840 pm and was back home by 930pm.

Thanks Shelley, Sound as if you packed in a lot in a short time Yeah security people can get a little picky at times there & here but what can you do. Though there was no need for her to be rude.
Evenings did get a little cool last weekend. We went out Sunday night, the last night we were there & had to wear a sweat shirt but we only stayed out until about 8:15 PM as we did what we went out for & it was time to get back & pack ugh !
I think we were at the Orlando airport about the same time. We went out of Gate 42 I think in was in the United Air section & you were went out of USAIR right? I was going to call you but I got caught up with idiots screaming at the gate person lol.
Don't you just love traveling with screaming kids? But try flying with a drunk at least the kid can't help it or maybe they can
The time my DS & DIL went with us, we had a drunk flying near us & I wanted to literally kill him as he was keeping me awake. He was finally cut off & fell asleep & was still sleeping when we landed. I told the FA to let him sleep & miss his connection

I guess that I expected to have airport personal to be a littel more helpful since the airport is so large, but this lady was down where the Hyatt was and there was a gate entrance area next to it. I think she wants to get paid to look important but not helpful
Yes I flew out on US Airways Gate 50, so u were not far from me, darn I should have called you. Oh I had a rude passenger on my flight, I was waiting at the gate for my zone to load and a snooty lady behind me was yelling to move out of her way, but I would not move right away cause my DD was standing in front of me and I did not want ppl to push her over. The lady next to her said to be nice it is the holiday's and we all have paid seats and we will all get on the plane. The Snooty lady told her to shut up and pushed her out of the way to get on the plane, it is crazy how nasty & rude folks can be.

I really don't understand some people attitudes at time esp when on vacation it's supposed to be a happy care free time but some folks just don't get it.
Sounds like you had a great time and I love the photo's - I definately want to get back at the holidays it's just so extra special I think all done up.
We won't be able to get back there now until 2013 even saying that makes me go into shock -
Your report is great!!! It's great that you ran into folks at unscheduled times too, makes it way more worth it!
So I used to work for an airline. We were cross utilized so I worked Ticket Counter one day, Gate the next day, Boarding, ramp, operations, you name it. A lot of people believe that they are the only ones that actually NEED to get somewhere. Apparently everyone else is flying around just to pass time. You would not believe the intelligence of these people. If a flight is delayed due to weather in the originating city I would get yelled at because you can look outside and see that the weather is clear. I became a liar if there were thunderstorms in Phoenix and I was standing in Sacramento. Holidays and red eyes bring out the worst people to fly with. If you want to travel with educated people who travel a lot, fly Monday mornings and Friday afternoons. That's when you travel with the most commuters.

Thanks Tammi,
I know I orignally tried to fly out on late Friday afternoon but there were to many things coming into play that made it too difficult.
