Just got the new iphone 4 and have been told there are a ton of apps out there for Walt Disney World that give you maps, your location in the park, dining reservation information and wait times at different rides. For those who have the iphone, or know someone who does, what are the best apps to add?

The apps I have used on the last couple trips that worked well were LINES, WDW Dining and The weather channels app. The last one was key in August to look at live radar and see how long it would keep raining.

Thanks Ed. I have added TWC to my phone too and it saved me today while walking the dog. Amazingly accurate. How did the lines app and the dining app work for you? You are talking about the free ones right? I know there is one that is $3.99 that is supposed to do everything all in one app, but I haven't heard from anyone who has used it first hand.

For parents with toddlers, check out the Disney Bubble Toddler Edition app for the iphone. Must dos for toddlers in order to reduce parent stress. Lots of pictures and maps too!!

I know the official Disney app is available for free in the Android market, but I am not sure if they made it for the iPhone as well.

These are good things to know, as I've finally broken down and ordered an iPhone. My current, much-beloved phone is dying a slow and painful death, so it was time.

I hope those of you who are using Disney-related iPhone apps will continue to post here about what you think of them! It sure is handy to have the official word from people who are in the know.

What's the deal with Gowalla and Disney - I wasn't paying attention really because my phone didn't have a Gowalla app but now I think I will be able to get one, and I think there were Disney badges on there???? Or was that just for the Verizon users? I'm horribly behind on iStuff, hoping someone will school me!
