"Why were so many Civil War battles fought in National Parks?" is just one example of the laughable questions tour guides and theme park employees field throughout their careers.

Earlier this month we caught up with Chuck Lennon, a media representative for Explore Minnesota Tourism, for our article "Quirky Questions Tourists Ask". After reading some of the questions Lennon and his co-workers have had to field—"Does one need a travel permit or visa to visit Minnesota?"—we decided to reach out to other members of the tourism industry. We heard from theme park employees, national park staff members, and hotel employees. Read on for a few of our favorites.

Epcot
"Do the fireworks go off in the sky?"
"'How do I get back to my hotel?' To which I answered, 'Which resort are you staying at?' The answer was 'I don't know, I think I'm on the second floor though.'"
"Can you call a cab and have them pick me up right here, I'm tired" (asked in the middle of Epcot.)

Hey now!! There is no living in sin in Disney World!! Mickey and Minnie are sweet on each other, and there's nothing going on that either would have to hide. I know this because they are also neighbors, and open their homes up to visitors in ToonTown. If there were anything untoward going on, they would surely lock the doors and draw the curtains, wouldn't they?

ya know - years ago, i believed that goofy was not a dog. and i used to have a reason, that i have long since forgotten...but the bottom line to my explanation (which I must've gotten from somewhere) is that he is a GOOF. thats all...not a dog. He used to date clarabel cow too i think. that'd be weird for a dog.

somewhere along the way, it just evolved to the point where people accept goofy as a dog. but i don't think he is.

                        

My 4yr DD thinks of Goofy & Clarabelle as the same, too. I have jammies with Goofy, Mickey & Minnie, & Donald & Daisy on them & she wondered where the girl Goofy was, and I finally figured out she was talking about Clarabelle. You're probably right - he's a GOOF.
