Hi all,

Just dropping a quick line to let you know how MK was, yesterday. We arrived @ 8:45 am. The crowds we pretty thick when we arrived. I was able to get a few pic's of the opening show on the train station ( I will post later).

As soon as we made it into the park we made a mad dash for SM. The line was so long but was on it within 20 min. While waiting in line to enter the ride my husband grab FP.

I can say the AM was going pretty well and enjoyable. We were able to get on most rides in TL within 10-15 min. When it was time to return 10:30 -11:30for our FP for SM, well needless to say it was shut down for repairs.

At this time we made our way over to adventure Island to PoTc it was around a 40 min wait.

By this time the crowds were getting to be overwheling but managable ( I get a little upset when folks will be walking around like the do not see you & then bump into you, to not even say I'm sorry).

We rode pretty much every major attraction and some of them more than 1 time. The FP that we had for SM we tried a 2nd times to use, but again it was not working. We did nnot get to use our FP until later in the eveing.

The 6:30 lighting of the castle just brought me to tears (it was beautiful). I was taking picture of the show and my eye was more behind our digital camera. When I fianlly stopped taking pictures stepping back looking at the castle all lite up was WOW! I can tell you it is one of those things you have to see for your self!!

We had dinner at Crystal Palace, dinner was nothing exciting it was food and since we have been there several times it was a normal character dinner.

Since we are celebrating my B'day here ( I know almost 2 weeks late) they brought a small cupcake w/ a candle and our waiter & my family sung Happy B'day.

At 10pm my DD-10 was done she did not want to anything else except return to the room. My DH wanted to stay till 2am ( EMH till 3am) when my DD started to have meltdowns during the Spectromagic Parade, as soon as it was over I ran into the bakery on Main Street and told my DH see you later. I believe he did not get in till 3:40 am.

So now I am trying to get on out of here to go to the DHS.

Sound as if you had a fun filled day Shelley ty ! I know that castle at night is a sight to see. I love it & have to go down each holiday season to see it. This may be the last year we go so I want to make the best of my trip

I want to watch the castle lighting!!!! I will, it will be over a year, but I will see it again. Until then, I live in trip reports.

Thanks for the pictures & report. Your DD had the meltdown & your DH wanted to stay. If we had been there, my DH would have been having the meltdown, and the rest of us would have wanted to stay.

Beautiful shots of the castle - it looks like you had a great spot. Your DD is beautiful as well!

Thanks, my husband is the type that can go on 3-4 of sleep and my DD- is ADD and for her she can only handle so much sensory overload. She gots tired very easy and it just cause her to let you know she is done.
