It's a pleasant enough piece, but I don't have any emotional attachment to it since--admission time here--I never saw AE.

I really liked Alien Encounter. I really miss this attraction.

I really don't like Stitch's Great Escape.

I really miss Alien Encounter, so I vote yes.
I do enjoy Stitch's Great Escape though, so its all good.

I'm with you. I like SGE, too. And I never felt that it deserves the constant slamming that it recieves way too much in Disney fan circles.

I think it's a much better fit for the Magic Kingdom than the all-too-intense and over-the-top-violent Alien Encounter was.

Um, I have to concur. I know Stitch takes a verbal beating in the world of message boards, but I love Stitch, and the MK is the perfect place for him to have a home. The whole ride premise fits exactly where it is, and I would much rather have Stitch than Alien Encounter.... I was too chicken to even go back on AE after my first time.
And SGE is definitely going to sell more merchandise than AE and that merchandise is valuable marketing. I know I come home with a new Stitch from that dump shop every trip... our favorite is the Tourist Stitch
