There is a website I just found out about called woot.com. Today's item is a set of vinyl Disney records The Magical Music of Walt Disney Original Motion Picture Sound Tracks. This is selling for $15.99+ S&H. This is an original set of records. Seems really neat for any collectors out there.

For those of you that don't know about woot. They have daily specials. When they run out they run out. Some may go right away, others may last the full day. Once in a while they have something called a woot-off. On those days instead of having one item, as soon as it is gone another one comes up. I have a friend at work that introduced me to this site last year, although I haven't bought anything. He has bought things before. He actually emailed me this AM to tell me about the records.

Barb I can honestly say I can not remember the last time I saw a record player for sale on the high street Ive seen retro ones online but not many. In my earlier years I was a club DJ and I still have a few of my old records, one day my son saw me just looking through them and asked what they were so I told him and his reply was your iPod must have been massive dad thats the generation gap for you I suppose.

As hard as it is to find a record player, it is even harder to find a needle replacement. One might say it could be as hard as finding a needle in a hay stack.

Nice one Mike! Our old turntable is still sitting in the dining room. We haven't used in in years,but DH won't part with it. We have a large collection of albums from our pre-MP3 days! OK barb,how about 8 trak tapes?!

Well Lu now that you mention it, husband has a 8 trak player & tapes to match. He got them when it was in the navy no kidding here lol

Errrrrrr Paul ok it makes me old I use to love that player but it did have a place to put a head phone jack into so I wouldn't wake up my son back then. I even have a Victoria an old fashion record player brought over from Italy that belong to my grandparents. Still works.
